We invite you to participate in the Seventh Annual Northern California Soy and Tofu Festival, to be held Saturday, June 17, 2017 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at The Event Center at Saint Mary’s Cathedral in San Francisco’s Japantown. This unique marketing and networking combination provides an excellent opportunity to promote your business to both targeted and Bay Area-wide audiences, while supporting an organization that keeps the voice of Japanese and Asian American communities strong.
Visible support with your logo will reach not only the Nichi Bei Weekly’s readers, but also the audiences of our current media partners — such as NBC Bay Area’s 5 million viewers (for top three sponsors) and other commercial spots and print advertisements in various languages.
This exciting culinary and cultural event showcases soy and tofu vendors, provides an educational forum on the various uses and benefits of soy and tofu, offers live entertainment, interactive games and culminates with the Soy and Tofu Dessert Competition. The event offers a unique opportunity for your company to outreach to larger, more diverse communities as well as to support a vibrant press for the Japanese and Asian American community.
Proceeds from sponsorships help the Nichi Bei Foundation continue to keep the community connected, informed and empowered through the publication of the Nichi Bei Weekly — the first nonprofit ethnic community newspaper of its kind in the country. The Nichi Bei Weekly also publishes the only annual guide to Japanese culture and spring festivals, a Japantown Map and Directory and a Japanese American Community Resource Guide. The Nichi Bei Foundation also presents meaningful educational programs such as the Films of Remembrance, and the organization led more than 600 on an unprecedented Nikkei Angel Island Pilgrimage in October of 2014.
Please consider the sponsorship opportunities of this unique festival. Once sponsorship is in place, immediate promotion begins through our Website, advertisements and posters leading up to springtime on-air television. For biggest impact, act quickly!
